“Cannahuana - the Moweed” takes you onto a 90-minute journey into two new worlds – those of the macrocosm and the plant world.

The film was produced by a collective of artists from Jamaica, Germany and Switzerland. With the help of time lapse animated film technology the viewer is given an insight into the plants’ dimension – with one hour becoming a single second. The viewers become immersed in the plants’ world and are presented with a consciousness expanding natural experience.
The use of cutting-edge macroscope technology turns the excursion into the macro world into a special journey…

“Cannahuana – the Moweed” features two audio tracks:
The first audio channel contains ambient music especially produced for the movie and the second audio channel features a reggae DJ set from the last 50 years of Jamaican music history.
